What if you were really old, and really kind and lonely, your whole race dead. What couldn’t you do then? If you were that old, and that kind, and the very last of your kind, you couldn’t just stand there and watch the children cry.
And I have to say to you, although I know you don’t give two fucks, that it took me long time to watch this episode, because it was hard to watch it without Tennant (damn this man). And just at the end of the episode I realized that fighting for who’s the best Doctor, who’s the worst is just stupid and pointless, because he’s the same man (well, alien) and that’s exactly what Amy said. As it wasn’t difficult for me to see it after Nine’s regeneration, because a - he was in the show for only one season, b - the regeneration was short and c - Rose was the link, something that both Nine and Ten knew, and it was natural for me that they’re the same Doctor, that after Ten’s regeneration it was tough, because everything around changed. But now, after watching this episode, I started to see both Ten and Nine in Eleven and I think it’s brilliant. And also, thanks to this episode, I accepted Amy as a proper Doctor’s companion. Because of what she said at the ending. Brilliant lines, really. And I loved the episode.
Cool story, bro, NOW BACK TO WATCHING.
